Do you want to see what I got for just over $200? I am excited about this. If you haven't started getting food from this food program, you need to consider it. It is like Angel Food Ministries was but I think better because there isn't as much processed food. (Yes there is some) Here is a link for their menu options hisfoodministry.net
For the month of November I bought 3 regular boxes and 3 holiday boxes. Here is a list of what was is in it:
9 lbs. boneless/skinless chicken breasts
3- 7 lbs. spiral cut, bone in hams
60 buttermilk biscuits
3- 8 inch pumpkin pies
3 lbs. frozen peaches
3 lbs. ground turkey
6 lbs. frozen strawberries
6 lbs. frozen corn
9 lbs. frozen green beans
6 lbs. smoked sausage links
almost 3 lbs. meatballs
3 pizzas
3 lbs. turkey breast slices (lunch meat)
3 lbs. bologna
3- 16 oz. canned yams
3- 14 oz. canned jellied cranberries
3- 13.3 oz. instant mashed potatoes
3- 6 oz. stuffing mix
Stay tuned, because sometime early next year Charli and I will be posting menus and grocery lists that will go with boxes, just in case you decide to get the boxes but would like some ideas on meals and how to spread the boxes out.
Until next time, stay blessed.
Proverbs 14:1 The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands. No, I am not building a house, we already did that, but it takes wise hands to keep it from falling apart. This is my journey in "building my house" both my spiritual and my physical self. My daily life consists of homeschooling, working part-time, and (hopefully) being a good wife and friend. There are many ups and downs, victories and failures, but with Gods help, I will be the best me I can be.

The biscuits are seriously delish. I haven't had anything from them that we haven't liked. I couldn't always say that with Angel Food.
